Netflix's published games catalog lists more than 120 exclusive mobile titles included with a membership, with no advertisements, no extra game fees and no in-app purchases. Members find a title inside Netflix, then download it through the device's regular app store on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Which profiles and devices can open the games
Games run against the Netflix account and the profile selected at launch. Netflix states that games are not available on Kids profiles, and maturity ratings still apply to the profiles that can reach them. The published device requirements are an Android phone or tablet on Android 8.0 or later, or an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, plus an active subscription, an internet connection to download and install, and free storage space. Individual games can add requirements beyond that list, which Netflix says appear on the game's own app page. As with downloaded shows and films, a title can be played on several devices on one account, and reaching the device limit interrupts access until another device signs out.
Old save data does not carry into the Netflix version
Save behaviour is the catalog's sharpest limit. Progress made in Netflix Games is saved to the profile used to play it, retained either through cloud saves or locally on the device depending on the title. Netflix states plainly that progress or saved data from games previously released elsewhere cannot be transferred into the Netflix version of a game, even where the two appear identical.
That makes the catalog strongest for members starting a game fresh, or wanting an included portable copy of something they already know. Anyone deep into a separately purchased edition should treat the Netflix version as a new save rather than a continuation. Re-downloading also does not guarantee restoration when a title stores progress locally rather than in the cloud.
What the catalog page does not settle
Catalog membership changes over time, device compatibility varies by title, and some games need a network connection even after a mobile install. How to check availability on your own device
Open Netflix on the exact phone or tablet you intend to play on, confirm the app is current and check that the Games row appears. A catalog listing can describe a title that has not reached every device, profile or country, so the in-app listing should take priority over third-party compatibility lists.
