Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
NexusGG (“NexusGG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an independent gaming and entertainment publication operated from Israel. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. It applies to visitors and registered readers wherever you are located.
Information we collect
We keep the personal data we hold to a minimum. We collect:
- Account data — the email address and display name you provide when you create an account.
- Content you create — the articles you bookmark and the topics you follow, stored against your account.
- Messages you send us — the name, email, and message you submit through our contact form.
- Technical data — our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, and request timestamps, in order to deliver and secure the service.
We do not run advertising networks. With your permission, we use Firebase Analytics to understand searches and improve coverage. You can reject or change this choice at any time. We do not use tracking technologies that profile you or follow you across other websites.
How we use your information
- To create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
- To provide core features such as bookmarks and followed topics.
- To respond to messages, requests, and questions you send us.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service, and to prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our terms.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, to provide your account and the features you request; our legitimate interests, to operate, secure, and improve the service; your consent, where we ask for it, for example before setting any non-essential cookies; and compliance with our legal obligations.
Cookies and storage
We use strictly-necessary first-party storage to keep you signed in. With your consent, Firebase Analytics may use optional analytics storage. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our Cookie Policy describes this in full.
Service providers and international transfers
We share personal data only with the service providers that make the site work, and only as needed for them to perform their services for us:
- Google Firebase (Google) — authentication and database.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Web3Forms — processing of contact-form submissions.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses offered by those providers. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Contact-form messages are retained only as long as needed to handle your request. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are required to keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data.
- Restriction and objection — limit or object to certain processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights; we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. If you are in Israel, you have the right to review and correct the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact page.
Children
NexusGG is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including managed authentication and access rules on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and significant changes may be highlighted on the site.
