Crossout's major October update will launch on October 22 instead of October 15. Developer Targem and publisher Gaijin attributed the one-week delay to technical reasons, extended the current Oracle's Echo event through October 21 and moved the first Clan Wars season under the revised system to October 26.
The revised calendar creates a seven-day Clan Wars gap
Clan Wars will be unavailable from October 19 through October 25, then return on October 26. The developers say the rating used for that opening season will be based on the previous Gauntlet of the Survivors season. That replaces the earlier plan to suspend the mode from October 12 and restart it on October 19, so players should follow the newer service notice rather than the dates in the original developer blog.
Oracle's Echo stays open while compensation remains unspecified
The Oracle's Echo event now runs through October 21 inclusive, giving players additional time before the patch. Targem also promised compensation after the technical problems are resolved, but has not yet identified the items, eligibility rules or delivery date. Until those details appear, the confirmed benefit is the event extension rather than a particular compensation package.
PC players need to account for the DirectX 11 cutoff
The delayed build is planned to end DirectX 11 support on PC and add DLSS 4.5 and FSR 3.1 support. Its visual overhaul includes revised lighting and shadows, volumetric fog, updated water and vegetation that bends beneath vehicles. Crossout recommends updating graphics drivers in advance, a practical step for PC users before the new renderer becomes mandatory.
The feature list is still a preview, not final patch notes
Other announced components include a Clan Wars rework, Halloween activities and a cross-platform Exhibition. The earlier development posts explicitly label their information as provisional, so balance numbers and implementation details may still change before October 22. The schedule in the delay notice is confirmed; the full contents will only be settled when Crossout publishes the release notes.
