19 PS5 Games Still Coming in 2026: Release Date Calendar

PlayStation's July roundup listed 19 PS5 releases for the rest of 2026. This August 16 check separates four dates that have passed from the 15 games still dated August 27 through November 19.

PlayStation's July 14 roundup listed 19 PS5 games dated between July 28 and November 19, 2026. As of August 16, this calendar has been checked against that first-party roundup. Four listed dates have now passed; the other 15 remain planning dates rather than guarantees, so confirm the regional PlayStation Store before buying, preordering or arranging time off.

Four dates in the original list have passed

  • Halo: Campaign Evolved — July 28
  • Beast of Reincarnation — August 4
  • Big Walk — August 4
  • Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls — August 6

The roundup says Halo supports four-player online co-op and two-player couch co-op. Big Walk was also listed as a PlayStation Plus Monthly Game at launch. A passed date in this list does not by itself prove availability in every region; it marks what PlayStation announced in July.

PS5 games dated for August and September

  • Metal Gear Solid: Collection Master Vol. 2 — August 27
  • Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy — August 27
  • Star Wars Zero Company — August 27
  • The Blood of Dawnwalker — September 3
  • Onimusha: Way of the Sword — September 4
  • Marvel's Wolverine — September 15
  • Control Resonant — September 24
  • Silent Hill: Townfall — September 24

August 27 carries three very different releases in PlayStation's list: a Metal Gear compilation, an A Plague Tale prequel starring Sophia and a Clone Wars tactics game. September then moves from dark fantasy and samurai action into superhero, action-RPG and first-person horror releases.

For planning purposes, August 27 is the first remaining cluster and September 24 is the next shared date. Those clusters make the calendar useful for comparing release congestion, but they are not buying recommendations: editions, prices, age ratings and regional availability are outside the scope of PlayStation's roundup and should be verified on each game's own store page.

October has seven listed releases

  • Rayman Legends Retold — October 1
  • Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve — October 2
  • Star Wars: Galactic Racer — October 6
  • Castlevania: Belmont's Curse — October 15
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 — October 23
  • Phantom Blade Zero — October 29

PlayStation's October section spans platforming, flight combat, racing, side-scrolling action, a military shooter and a wuxia-inspired action RPG. The roundup describes Rayman Legends Retold as supporting up to four couch co-op players and lists Galactic Racer with online races for up to 12 players.

October is also the widest-spread month in the list, beginning October 1 and ending October 29. Treat each date independently: one title moving would not invalidate the other five entries, and PlayStation's editorial roundup may not update at the same time as a publisher announcement or regional store listing.

Grand Theft Auto VI closes the published calendar

Grand Theft Auto VI is the final entry in the roundup, dated November 19 for PS5. There are no December titles in PlayStation's 19-game selection. That does not mean no other PS5 games will release in December; it only defines the scope of this particular first-party list.

Freshness check: dates compared with PlayStation's July 14 roundup on August 16, 2026. Release dates can move, and this article does not treat the roundup as a live store inventory.
