Wake Up, Lia! is part of Xbox’s July 29 release lineup. Eastasiasoft’s narrative precision platformer includes 20 stages and supports either solo play or local co-op, according to the official listing.

Platforms and confirmed features

The game follows Lia through nightmares shaped by bullying as she recovers memories and parts of her identity. Its mechanical pitch is straightforward: short, hand-built stages filled with lethal traps, repeated attempts and exact jumps. Local co-op adds a second player in the same room rather than advertising online multiplayer.

What the release is actually offering

That distinction matters for anyone planning to play with another person. Local co-op usually requires both players to share one system and display; the store does not list online co-op. Smart Delivery and Play Anywhere address a different question by covering supported Xbox versions and participating Windows PC access under the same digital purchase.

Limits of the listing

The official pages do not establish how the difficulty curve handles two players, whether assist options change the platforming, or how long the 20 stages take to finish. NexusGG has not tested the game. The US store showed a temporary preorder discount during our check, but regional pricing and promotion windows can differ.

What to check at launch

NexusGG compared Xbox Wire’s dated release calendar with the game’s live Xbox Store record on July 29. The calendar establishes the intended release window; the product page is more useful for supported devices, purchase entitlements, multiplayer requirements and current regional availability. These records can change independently, especially near an unlock time. Players should recheck the local store before paying, confirm that the expected edition and language are selected, and treat capability badges as targets until real-world performance has been tested. This article will be updated if the date, access model or platform listing materially changes.

A storefront can confirm what is being sold without answering how well the finished game delivers on its description. Review scores, user ratings and performance claims are therefore excluded from this launch brief until they can be tied to a tested build and platform. The practical takeaway is limited to the release record, supported Xbox features and the specific play loop described by the publisher.
