Warframe's one-time Taubound event runs October 15 to November 17

All players who finish Vor's Prize can gather Moonflesh on Eris during Epoch Operation: Taubound. The event and its daily dialogue will not return, while the separate Tau Prologue remains permanently available.

Warframe's Epoch Operation: Taubound begins October 15 and ends November 17, giving the community one month to fuel the Sentient mothership Praghasa for a journey toward the Tau System. Digital Extremes says the operation will not be rerun, making its event dialogue and reward window genuinely time-limited rather than part of Warframe's permanent quest line.

Participation is deliberately broad. Anyone who has completed Vor's Prize can enter Eris during the operation because the usual Star Chart and Junction requirements will be lifted. Completing missions on Eris awards Moonflesh, which can be traded to Praghasa for rewards including armor, a Syandana, an Amp skin and other event cosmetics.

The operation and Tau Prologue have different requirements

The limited operation does not require The Hex or The Old Peace. Those two quests are required only for the separate Tau Prologue quest arriving in the Codex on October 15. Digital Extremes describes the prologue as a permanent addition, so players who are behind on the story do not need to rush those longer prerequisites before the operation starts.

The distinction prevents two different deadlines from being confused. Newer players can collect Moonflesh and claim operation rewards after Vor's Prize. Veteran players who completed The Hex and The Old Peace can also access the cinematic prologue, play as the Lotus, use their customized Vessel on Eris and face a large Infested boss encounter.

What disappears after November 17

Digital Extremes says daily narrative messages from Praghasa are exclusive to the event, along with the operation's reward exchange. The Tau Prologue stays in the Codex. Players prioritizing limited content should therefore visit Praghasa and complete Eris missions during the event, while treating the prologue as permanent story material that can be finished later.

Taubound is less a conventional content drop than a bridge to Warframe's next destination. Its most important practical rule is simple: finish Vor's Prize to join the community operation, and finish The Hex plus The Old Peace only if the permanent prologue is the immediate goal.
