EA Sports FC 27 now has a ten-hour EA Play trial for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox on PC. Xbox Wire says trial progress carries into the full game if a player buys it. The limit is on play time; this is an opportunity to test a mode or two, not full ownership through the subscription.
Xbox One can run the trial, but misses The Grounds
The biggest platform distinction sits inside the game. EA’s new social football mode, The Grounds, is listed for Xbox Series X|S only in the Xbox Wire article and store disclosures. It brings small-sided matches, 2v2 play and Clubs tournaments. EA says Clubs is playable during the trial on Xbox Series X|S and PC, but not in the Xbox One trial. An Xbox One player can use the trial but should not expect that specific mode to appear.
That makes the trial most useful as a purchase check on the hardware a player already owns. Try the match feel or the modes available on that version first. The article also describes revised off-balance dribbling, set pieces and the Manager Career transfer market, but those are publisher claims rather than a verdict on how well they play.
The subscription benefit is narrower than buying the game
Eligible members can receive up to 10% off EA digital purchases and recurring rewards, according to Xbox Wire. The ten-hour trial and a possible discount should not be confused with permanent access to FC 27. Check the platform-specific store terms and local price before buying, because the US store prices embedded in the announcement do not establish an Israeli price.
