Into the Radius 2 is now on PlayStation VR2, but launch-day survival is a solo assignment. CM Immersive says the complete single-player campaign is included now, while two-player co-op will arrive through a free update in Q4 2026. Buyers expecting to enter the anomaly with a friend should therefore wait for that update.
Every weapon part can become the source of a jam
The sequel expands maintenance beyond a single weapon condition meter. Barrels, stocks, optics, grips and magazines track their own wear and dirt, and cleaning requires covering individual components. Chest rigs, armor and backpacks can also be arranged down to the angle of pouches and holsters, turning preparation into part of the survival loop.
The world prevents one reliable route from solving every run. A periodic Tide resets enemy and loot positions, while Mimics use cover and flanking behavior. Distortion Zones drain health without specialized headgear, adding another equipment check before leaving safety.
The PS VR2 version targets native 90 fps
CM Immersive lists native 90 fps with eye-tracked foveated rendering, adaptive-trigger resistance, headset and controller haptics, and 3D Audio. These are developer specifications rather than our own performance test, but they set clear expectations for the launch build before co-op arrives.
