Jin Sakai will return as one of four playable characters in Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted, a single-player survival mode built around repeatable roguelike runs. The mode launches October 1 with the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion. Existing Ghost of Yōtei owners can access both through a $14.99 Complete Edition Upgrade.

October 1: Most Wanted and Echoes of Sekigahara launch globally through patch 2.0. Some Asian, Australian and New Zealand territories receive the patch October 2. Internet and a PlayStation account are required.

Jin keeps all four stances and Ghost Stance

Jin uses his katana with the four original Ghost of Tsushima stances, plus a sticky bomb and short bow. His Ultimate is Dance of Wrath, while his kill streak activates Ghost Stance. Sucker Punch says the character model was updated for Ghost of Yōtei while remaining faithful to its earlier appearance.

Atsu, Oyuki and Nagato complete the roster. Each starts with a katana plus a different combination of weapons, abilities, Ultimates and kill streaks. Runs begin at a bounty board, continue through enemy waves and minibosses, and end with a selected member of the Yōtei Six. Higher difficulty versions culminate in a bounty against Lord Saito.

The $14.99 upgrade also buys a separate story expansion

Completing waves grants temporary perks, while Mon earned during play buys persistent techniques, weapon upgrades, charms and character unlocks. Cosmetics earned in Most Wanted also carry into the main game and Echoes of Sekigahara. That connection gives the mode rewards outside its own run structure rather than isolating progress.

The $14.99 upgrade includes Most Wanted, Echoes of Sekigahara, prior Digital Deluxe items and the Charm of Hokkyokusei. A $69.99 Complete Edition is available for new players and includes the base game, Legends co-op and the same additions. A physical Complete Edition arrives October 1.

All owners receive a free update even without buying the upgrade: a Beauty of Yōtei photo-exploration mode, new Watanabe Mode tracks, cosmetic armor transmog and a high-contrast accessibility option. The paid boundary is therefore the two expansions and bundle extras, not the quality-of-life changes. Sucker Punch has not priced the two expansions separately.
