Sony has detailed the July 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, led by two large open-world releases: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Team Ninja’s Rise of the Ronin. The lineup also spans co-op simulation, retro brawling, survival horror and narrative RPGs.
The July 2026 PlayStation Plus highlights
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora arrives globally on July 21 for PS5.
- Rise of the Ronin is available July 15 in the US and UK and July 16 in Japan for PS5.
- Firefighting Simulator: Ignite joins globally on July 21 for PS5, with four-player cooperative play.
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind arrives July 28 in the US, UK and Japan for PS5 and PS4.
- Dying Light, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector and Snow Bros. Wonderland are also scheduled for July 28 in those markets.
Why the release dates differ by region
Sony says it is testing different Game Catalog delivery schedules in selected markets. Players in the US, UK and Japan therefore receive parts of the lineup on staggered dates, while the complete announced catalog becomes available July 21 in other regions.
Two PS2 games join PlayStation Plus Premium
Premium subscribers also get two PlayStation 2 catalog additions: Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy. Their arrival gives the month a stronger classics component alongside the newer Extra and Premium releases.
For most subscribers, Avatar and Rise of the Ronin are the obvious anchors. The broader list is more varied than the headline pair suggests, however, especially for players looking for shorter co-op or retro options between open-world games.
