Until Dawn 2 opens preorders on September 10 and launches on PS5 on January 28, 2027, according to Firesprite. Its story follows Dead True, a group of fake ghost hunters facing real danger on Akishima Island, with AdHoc Studio collaborating on the narrative.
Do not confuse the preorder incentive with the edition upgrade. Both Standard and Digital Deluxe preorders include Dr. Hill-themed outfits and collectible bobbleheads. Digital Deluxe separately adds the Y2K Neon Vibes costume pack and Diorama of Death.
For buyers, the useful comparison is therefore the extras attached to the edition, not whether the preorder bonus requires Deluxe. The announcement gives no basis to treat the costumes as additional story chapters.
